December 7th 2011:

I am currently in Victoria until February 6th 2012, after that I will begin my tour of Western Canada and will be updating this section along the way. I look forward to connecting with every one on the tour.

December 16th 2011:

Today I got my suv serviced and ready for the Eastern winter. A plug in installed and even snow chains. I will be heading out in about a month and a half! Did I mention I love the snow and so does my dog! There is quite abit to get done before heading out but just wanted you guys to know how special you all are for me to keep coming back! Thank you Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba! I have enjoyed every trip up to now and will continue to keep coming back and even the winter roads will not keep me in balmy Victoria! See you all soon!

February 26th 2012:

Wow, what a great time I am having so far!  I have made it on my tour as far as Saskatoon without experiencing much of the snow and the cold, except for Banff, until now. The weather seems to be on my side, storming only on days that I am not driving. Missy and I have been running instead of walking these days, mostly because she doesn’t have much fur and needs to move faster. lol

Going as far as Winnipeg will be exciting. Last time I only went as far as Brandon, MB. Mostly because I have to muzzle Missy in public there but wanted to go further because in the summer I will be exploring all the way to the East coast and wanted to have even less unfamiliar territory to learn in my next journey.

So far I am enjoying driving in the snow around Saskatoon. My suv handles very nicely in the snow and I love the sound of the tires turning in the snow.

April 2nd 2012:

After resting up, visiting with family and friends, and doing some pottery, I am excited to hit the road again! Visiting my favourite beach house in Comox Valley first. I hope I get nice weather, but either way, I love being right on the water and to hear the waves at night … with stars – Magical!

Next I will be checking out the Northern Lights, as I drive north in a big loop around the top of the province. This will be a quick trip, squeezing in a good number of cities. Dates are here. I am hoping it isn’t too muddy for my dog and my car’s interior … lol! I can already imagine the mess I will end up with!

Looking forward to connecting with more northern men as I hear working and living up north can by lonely. I’m here to help you out with that … lol.

April 12th 2012:

I had an unforgettable weekend at the beach house in Comox Valley (up island). It was nice weather, a full moon and the first time for Missy to be off leash since her knee surgery. I can’t wait for my return visit in September.Today is the first day of my Northern BC trip! It will be a fast one – blink and you might miss me! The soonest I will be back is September – Unless I don’t move to Alberta first. Hopefully I will be meeting some northern gentlemen to talk me into coming back again soon

I feel more rested, and better organzied this trip and ready to have some fun! I don’t know what I am looking forward to more – My duos with Jaime Lane (Edmonton) & Aubreyxxx (Calgary) or driving across Canada this summer!
